As an EMT, I rolled up on enough car accidents to learn some behaviors to avoid. As a result, I don’t generally speak on my phone when driving, let alone texting. Often, I don’t even have it nearby… why bother?
We get a lot of visitors to Myrtle Beach; it’s an opportunity to see what happens when people unfamiliar with the area work to navigate busy and crowded streets while talking and texting… My decision to avoid cell phone use while driving is revalidated nearly every day.
